Florida Compare Care provides Health Care Data for selected medical conditions and procedures in Florida's
short-term acute care hospitals, ambulatory (outpatient) surgery centers, and hospital emergency rooms. The web site contains information related

These postings report imposition of Immediate Orders, such as moratoria on admissions or emergency suspensions against health care facilities, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, home health agencies and other provider types, for violations of regulation.
AHCA Consumer Resources, Consumer Complaint, Publication and Information Call Center provides a toll-free phone system for consumers to file complaints about health care facilities, receive publications, information and referral numbers. Medical Help Resources for the Uninsured through the Agency for Health Care Administration assists with referrals to possible
help with the cost of medical care, prescription drugs, and other medical needs.

The Florida Medicaid Program provides medical coverage for Florida residents who meet the program's low-income eligibility requirement. This mostly includes children, pregnant women, disabled adults, and seniors. Applications for Medicaid are made through the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF). Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) program provides cash assistance to families with children under the age of 18
or under age 19 if in school. The program helps families become self-supporting while allowing children to remain in their own

The Substance Abuse Program Office is the state clearinghouse for substance abuse prevention education and information.
They also fund HIV and infectious disease education and prevention and work in cooperation with the Department of Health on programs and
services targeted at improved pregnancy outcome and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.
