The following individuals have been appointed to the Governor's Task Force on Autism Spectrum Disorders by Governor Charlie Crist. Task Force members were appointed to a term beginning March 7, 2008 and ending at the pleasure of the Governor.

  • Laura L. Bailet, of Jacksonville, executive director of Nemours Bright Start!
  • Anna "Holly" Benson, of Tallahassee, secretary of the Agency for Health Care Administration.
  • Karen A. Berkman, of Tampa, director of the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, University of South Florida.
  • Lance J. Block, of Tallahassee, attorney with Searcy, Denney et. al.
  • Jeffrey P. Brosco, of Coral Gables, physician and associate professor of Clinical Pediatrics, University of Miami.
  • Jim DeBeaugrine, of Tallahassee, interim director of the Agency for Persons with Disabilities. Mr. DeBeaugrine serves as task force co-chair.
